Krystal Keith And Lance Carpenter Song Turns To Radio

Show Dog Nashville's Krystal Keith and Lance Carpenter caught lightning in a bottle with their duet "AnyoneElse," and they're uncorking it at Country radio May 21. Already enjoying significant media and digital attention, the song has proven to be undeniable at every step of its unexpected rise, even as both artists continue to pursue solo projects for the label.

Already steaming on streaming services, "Anyone Else" has amassed millions of streams having been featured Apple Music's Breaking Country and Spotify's New Boots playlists, and Pandora's New Country Radio. Having visited top radio stations nationwide to introduce the song, Keith and Carpenter also sat down with iHeartCountry's Michael J. for an in-depth podcast interview; hear it here.

Fueled by the pair's "unique vocal chemistry" (Taste of Country), the song hailed as a "sweeping, romantic anthem" by The Boot has compelled a string of dual performances. Krystal and Lance performed at the opening date of Toby Keith's Should've Been A Cowboy Tour XXV April 16 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They're also scheduled to open Toby's July 13 show at the Grand Casino Hinckley (MN) Amphitheater. Before then, they'll play a combined show at CMA Fest in Nashville June 8.

First heard as a demo by then-independent artist/songwriter Carpenter, "Anyone Else" captured some magic when he asked Krystal - a frequent writing partner - to take a shot recording a duet vocal for the track. The reaction was a wildfire, starting with each artist's manager and quickly spreading to executives at Show Dog Nashville right up to the top with founder/owner/artist Toby Keith. His enthusiasm for the song pushed it to the forefront of the label's priorities and eventually led to Carpenter receiving a recording contract. Meanwhile, Krystal Keith is set to release her second Show Dog Nashville project in July as Carpenter works on his first for the label.
