New Duet with Lance Carpenter Available Now
Critically hailed Show Dog Nashville recording artist Krystal Keith and just-signed label mate Lance Carpenter have released their duet "Anyone Else" at all digital retailers. Written by Kelly Archer, Greg Bates and Emily Shackleton, the track will also soon have a video.
Carpenter, known for co-writing Kelsea Ballerini's No. 1 "Love Me Like You Mean It," brought the song to Keith. "I had been writing with Krystal and asked her if she'd put a vocal on it so I could see what it sounded like as a duet. Her folks flipped out over it. I loved it."
"Lance and I wrote a few songs together, got along really well and worked well together, so when he brought this song to my attention, the stars really aligned," Keith adds. "We're on the same page, musically, and the track came out great, so it will be fun to get this out there."
Recently added to the Show Dog roster, Carpenter enjoyed an outdoor lifestyle growing up on a farm in Ozark, Arkansas. He started writing songs in college, spent several years in the emergency management field working 42 different disasters including Hurricane Katrina, and finally made the full time jump to music in 2011. His chart-topper for Ballerini peaked in 2015.
Krystal Keith drew widespread praise with her wide-ranging and soulful debut album Whiskey & Lace. The album included the viral video smash "Daddy Dance With Me," which she wrote as a surprise for the first dance with her father Toby Keith at her wedding. After a successful run of headline and support dates following the release, Krystal took some time off as she welcomed her first child. A new EP featuring a few original songs she co-wrote is expected next year.
